When Lush’s predecessor Cosmetics To Go launched, it lit up the sky dazzling everyone in a trail of revolutionary cosmetic products. We assisted with the launch event of Danger, the book retracing the story of the company that came before Lush.
Cosmetic To Go catalog covers and promotional graphics from the 1990’s which formed the base of the displays and decorations used for the book launch event.
These covers and graphics were scanned, re-created and produced in large format prints and in 3D props to bring the CTG brand back to life.
Beep were asked by Lush to create an atmospheric event using graphics from the book that told the story before Lush. We visited the site for the launch and designed areas for the book graphics to be showcased.
We worked with Benchmarque Designs to create 3D props to make the spaces interactive and inviting. They also made large cut out designs from wood that we covered in graphics.
We made large scaled versions of catalogue covers that were placed on the walls. We printed and installed large graphics to the wall with removable wallpaper as the event was one evening only. A large logo graphic was applied to the dance floor.
We created invitations which were mini replicas of orders, small boxes with labels and covered in labels (as orders use to be sent by CTG). We designed the invite and printed them on premium watercolour paper.
